The hotel Da Vestro was once a typical farmhouse, which went by the name of Orbano. As a hotel, it has 14 rooms, furnished with taste and simplicity.
The swimming pool, located in a corner of the gardens, can be enjoyed by guests from 1 May to 30 September.
Food & beverage
The restaurant offers simple dishes typical of the Tuscan tradition, in which extra virgin olive oil and "odori" (onion, garlic, parsley, celery, carrot and sage) are the basis of meat dishes, sauces and vegetables. Vegetables, meat and game are served fried, stewed or roasted. Tarts and almond biscuits are home made, as are certain types of pasta.
Do not miss the pasta with boar sauce or garlic sauce, the bean and cabbage soup, the roast suckling pig, the stewed boar, the Sienese fried foods or the boar chops.

The rooms have been furnished with taste and simplicity, and are equipped with all modern comforts.
Area information
The hotel is located in Monticiano, in the province of Siena, near to the border with Grosseto. The town is at an altitude of 375 metres, surrounded by woods and near 4 nature reserves: Farma, Alto Merse, Basso Merse and La Pietra.
The nearest site of cultural interest is the Abbey of San Galgano (4 km). In half an hour it is possible reach the main art centres of the provinces of Siena, Grosseto and Pisa. The Tyrrhenian coast and Mt. Amiata are little over one hour away.
